How the Performance Chart is Calculated

The performance chart for the Daily Stock Advisory trades is calculated based upon the following criteria:

  • An assumption is made that a fixed portion of the investor's total investment funds are allocated to following stock positions as presented by the Market Summary & Forecast Daily Stock Advisory.
  • Any one full position taken is 20% of the total funds allocated and/or accumulated utilizing the Daily Stock Advisory (i.e. 5 full positions will be taken at most).  A half position  is 10%.
  • Long and short positions are treated equally.
  • All positions are taken on a cash basis only.  Although, in actual practice, short positions require only margin, the performance chart considers these trades on a cash basis.
  • All positions underlying the returns depicted in the performance chart are documented in the Past Reports, Daily Stock Advisory Archive.
